Dreamt I was redecorating my present apartment and Valerie Bertinelli was helping me. I took down all the memorabilia on a white cupboard in my kitchen (do not have one at present) and replacing the things with a red and white floral tea set. Meantime, I popped a cornish hen in the oven and Valerie made me a turkey and cheese sandwich on a mini roll but I put on the mayo, oil and vinegar. For some reason I went to sleep for an hour. It was 7:50pm when I checked on the hen and realized I never turned on the oven. So I turned it on. And then Valerie was no longer there but my 40 year old son Andrew was living with me and I was helping him hang pictures with the command strips. While helping him, the hen was almost done and I made Stove Top chicken stuffing.
Your dream is rich with symbolism and may reflect various aspects of your life, emotions, and subconscious thoughts. Let's delve into its different components:
Redecorating the Apartment: This might symbolize a desire for change or improvement in your current life situation. Redecoration suggests that you are seeking to refresh or alter your environment to better suit your needs and reflect who you are at this stage in your life.
Valerie Bertinelli's Presence: Valerie Bertinelli is a well-known actress and public figure, often associated with warmth and charm. Her presence in your dream may represent qualities you admire or wish to emulate. It could also signify a longing for companionship or support from someone who embodies these traits.
The White Cupboard and Red-White Floral Tea Set: The white cupboard you do not possess in reality could symbolize untapped potential or unexplored opportunities. Replacing memorabilia with a red and white floral tea set may indicate a longing for beauty, harmony, and order in your life. Flowers often symbolize growth and new beginnings.
Cooking and Food: The act of cooking, especially the Cornish hen and sandwich, reflects nurturing, providing, and perhaps the sustenance of relationships. Food in dreams often represents emotional nourishment or the way you need to be "fed" mentally and spiritually. The mayo, oil, and vinegar may signify the need for adding flavor or excitement to your life.
Turning on the Oven: Forgetting to turn on the oven could suggest that there is an area in your life you've neglected or a project you've started but not fully committed to. The action of remembering and turning it on might be interpreted as a realization or reminder to focus on your goals or passions.
Son's Presence and Helping Him: Your son appearing in the dream symbolizes family dynamics and possibly concerns or feelings around your role as a parent. Helping him hang pictures can represent support and guidance you offer or need in your familial relationship. The use of command strips suggests a desire for stability and a non-permanent change, perhaps wanting the ability to adapt easily to life's circumstances.
Stove Top Chicken Stuffing: Preparing stuffing along with finishing the hen suggests completion and satisfaction. As stuffing is often considered comfort food and associated with gatherings, it could indicate a need or appreciation for comfort and togetherness in your life.
In summary, this dream seems to encapsulate themes of change, support, nurturing, and fulfillment. It points to a desire for transformation in your environment, strengthened familial ties, and a deeper nourishment on an emotional and spiritual level. Reflecting on these aspects may provide clarity or insight into current life situations or emotions you are experiencing.
